Coredge Software relieves the pain of filling document profiles

Record Profiler automatically fills email and document profiles based on content

OTTAWA, CANADA, August 17, 2007 - Coredge Software Inc., today announced the upcoming release of Record Profiler, a hands-free and easy-to-train tool for automatically filling the descriptive profile of emails and documents stored in Document Management Systems.

Filling document profiles containing multiple fields is difficult and time-consuming. The complexity of this task leads to mistakes and inaccuracies. The multiple profiling options offered by Record Profiler facilitate the population of document profiles and thus increase compliance with document management guidelines. At the same time, Record Profiler will automatically classify records into the corporate file plan based on content.

Record Profiler maintains a replica of the Corporate File Plan into the Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) Database Engine and uses the scalable and open architecture to assign descriptive profile attributes and categories. While Record Profiler currently offers support for the Open Text™ Corp. (NASDAQ: OTEX,TSX: OTC) eDOCS DM, support for Microsoft's SharePoint will follow.

"By automatically assigning profile attributes, we have relieved users from this enormous and tedious task", said Gabriel Cassis, Coredge President and CEO. "Users can continue to focus on the content of records while Record Profiler takes care of their profile and classification. Should Record Profiler need assistance, it will enable Records Managers to provide the final say." added Mr. Cassis.

Record Profiler is expected to ship in the fourth quarter of 2007. An evaluation copy will be available from the Coredge website and will permit Records Managers to test the classification of the sample set of emails. Pricing has yet to be finalized.

To assist with the process of identifying legacy records stored in mailboxes, local and public folders, or elsewhere, Coredge Software will also offer Record Digger, a robust, easy-to-use and readily accessible tool for providing a quick way to review and identify electronic records based on their content.
